In 1964, Alton Griffin opened a tunnel car wash and Sinclair gas station in Ogden, Utah and named the enterprise "WashMobile". Alton quickly found that finding high quality soaps, detergents and waxes for his wash was next to impossible. In pursuit of the perfect wash for his customers, he begin manufacturing his own, custom-quality soaps and car wash formulas. As other professional washes and detailers began asking for Griffin's superior products, AutoWash was born.
Now with 66 employees, Sky Blue Industries, continues to research, develop and manufacture over 60 different products for automatic and self serve car washes and detail shops under the AutoWash name. An experienced sales staff strives to provide a high level of customer service including demonstrations of how to best use all of the detailing detergents, waxes and accessories AutoWash provides.
